Thank you all.
Well, Soeren, the kit it self is O.K. It is poor with details so, with a little patience, it's not that hard to build it. But the plastic was somewhat bad. I tried to prime it with a grey enamel paint (Revell) dissolved with a little nitro, but the plastic got soft and started "waving" so I stopped, waited for the color to dry, sanded it again to flatten the "waves" and started the whole process but very very carefully with very thin layers of color. After the primer dried, the rest was "by the book".
So, my suggestion is to use acrylic primer. 🙂
Oh, I almost forgot. You can also build a new exhaust covers from an aluminium can. It's very easy to do.
Good luck and can't wait to see the results.😉
