Thanks Arne, filled the glasses with clear cote. after drying some brown washing. So it´s possible to look through the glasses.😉 The guy is no diver, he´s the d(r)iver.

Wow, this promises to be an interesting project. Great wood effect on the hull ! ( Quite a few of us into wood now, are`nt we ?😉 )
The " salted " chipping looks super, so does the driver. (Or should we call him helmsman ?)

Thanks for your kind words Mates! 😄
@Hanno: I thought it would be good to have another italian boat beside yours. And have a little practice in painting wood.😉

Interesting subject and very nice work so far. The wooden effect on the lower hull looks really good.

You're right, there can never be enough boats here. Speaking of wich - you might want to take a look here, a link Christian gave me. I think I will have to spend a lot of money there in the nearer future ....... 😉

Thank you, Christian. Glad that you like it. Some more steps have to be done. 🙂
@Hanno: Checked the site when Christian gave you the link. Great stuff! Could use some sailors for my RAF Rescue Boat. But for now I want to finish some of my projects because this monster is waiting for me: scalemates.com/kits/101615-i..-elco-80-torpedo-boat-pt-596

A true monster indeed ! Italeri 's MAS is big, but this one 's huge ! I' curious on that build ! I did this one in 1/72 nd, but i' d like a 77ft Elco in this scale, because it was based in Scott Paines design, like the RAF rescue launch.

The Elco was a special offer (40 Euro). A must have...
@ Essi: the carpet monster loves your glasses too. Lost several on the ground. 🙂

Oh! I think your carpet monster has a link with mine! Cuz I find some glasses here time to time! Sounds scary! lol

Before I work on anything small, I place a "Drop Sheet" under my work area, and I never lose a thing now. 🙂

Better put no carpet under your working place. I have black matres. They work, till I sample some dust and dirt from the buttoms of my shoes. 🙁

Super Dein" kleiner Italiener" Acki ! 😉 Very authentic chipping and weathering. The interior details , the driver and the base look fantastic !
What a tiny little beauty in comparison with the 80 footer ! Did you start with the beast yet ?

Thanks Christian and Hanno. Very pleased that you like this. The beast is still asleep. Waiting for its time.

Hey Acki, you´ve done a really nice job with this little italian one-way-boat. And the wooden deck or base is amazing. Is it in the box, too? Well, now I wait for the ELCO.

![](/profiles/img/10685-859-s.jpg)
Hi Arne and Kim, thanks for your postings. The wooden deck is a deck for model ships. You can find them cheap in RC-Shops. The Elco has to wait. No place for the monster now but it´s coming.
I asked myself if the M.T.M looks so used as I made it but I found some pics on the booklet that comes with the kit and in the web. So I took it as a nice practice for painting wood and weathering.
Thanks for looking. 😄
