This will most likely take months too...we don't have a hobby shop close to us , so I get almost everything on-line....this one said sealed....lol. who ever had it had started the kit. The cockpit is glued in and painted flat black with no decals or highlight's, and two body pcs were glued in incorrect.[ under the inlets ] I love putty....and sanding....I have got the body together, and that took some doing. A good coat of primer on it. Ill fill in the gap's and add some pic's. need more beer...lol.

I think the marking will be the Felix from USS Carl Vinson. The red will be vary welcome After the gray that my last two kits were. been working on the sidewinders today. letting the body dry totally before I take the clamps off.

There was a almost 1/2 inch gap between the top 1/2 and bottom. was. now I have to sand it all flat and start on the seems.

and note the red camp marks in the pic's. that's how much it took to remode the 1/2s together. who ever had this model must have stored it in the oven !

Having similar issues with an eBay phantom purchase. Interesting that the 1:48 has all the same filler/joining issues as the 1:32. Good luck.

I will post new pic's soon, Mostly done dill now. I remember why I stopped building Revell kits back in high school.....now don't get me wrong, Any kit maker can have a bad kit, but if its more often than not.....
