Thanks gentlemen, yes Hanno the kit needed quite a bit of work, parts correction, parts replacement, but still it got me underway & happy to have it done

Thanks Bernhard, funny you quiz me on the rigging - I found it intensely challenging & not my best work on the build. But this is not so much the fault of the product, more my inexperience. I used RB Productions etched SS RAF flat rigging wire. There's a full range of sizes accurate to 1/32, so for these primary wires at 1/48 I figured I could use the smallest 1/32 control wire. The ends of the rigging were embedded in a styrene sandwich which was then sanded to shape.
