Airfix EE Canberra B.2/ B.20
Poor fit from intake to nacelle, huge gap
Intakes and jet pipes on, poor fit on both sides - oh Airfix get the small stuff right!
Hope these pics come up right way round!
Disappointed with the Tamiya X22 + MLT mixture for gloss coat on black primer, I polished the UMP black primer coat with micromesh then polished with Tamiya compounds. I then sprayed Vallejo Aluminum in nice thin coats first, then built them up
Trick with Vallejo metal colours (well with most metallisers) is to use thin coats at low pressure (10 psi max), if you have it, set the trigger on the airbrush to get consistent airflow. Don't be heavy handed, like I was on my first attempts with Vallejo
I think its a good result, considering I didnt use the traditional gloss black primer coat or Vallejo's problematic black gloss primer
Sheesh Scalemates you've lost me - had to delete whole lot of upside down pics. Those who know me follow the build on ISM

Looks very good so far Nazid. It's a shame the pictures are the wrong way up.

Yeah I know they are right way up in the original, but when I import them they go like this!

I've had the same problem. I found that it was because I rotated the image in the file manager – when I undid the rotate and then rotated it with a graphics package instead, it uploaded the right way up. I'm going to ask Tim for a rotate tool, I think quite a few are having the same problem.

I believe its the rotate tool in windows' pic viewer at fault here? Had the same issue, so like gorby, I don't use it anymore. Windows Paint does flipping, rotating and clipping now.

It isn't just a Windows problem – I use Linux and I have the same problem using my file manager (Nemo).
