it is looking quite good. what did you use for the flocking? it certainly looks good.
please add the kit to the project, it looks quite tempting to maybe add to wishlist 🙂

Thank you Spanjaard! Should have given it a brush down before the photos wre taken though! I used 0.5mm decitex raw white Nylon Flock Powder from theflockingshop.co.uk
I could not find the exact kit on here to add? Kit is Revell 57 Chevy Convertible "Streetburner" 1:25 scale

for the look of the box, i think this is the right one
scalemates.com/kits/193569-r..-4270-1957-chevy-convertible
the reference you give in the title seem to match too 🙂

I mean the product and your application as well 🙂 It looks like a real carpet, not like a grass or gravel from others.

Thanks again all for your encouraging comments! Got all the chrome parts stripped and repainted, some detailing to do on those too. The hard part I have left until last, spraying the body!! Going to use Zero Paints for that! Gulp! Could make or break the build! But its all part of the curve of learning 😉

I see car modelers doing the body first all the time, looks like is better because you can work in other areas wile it is drying, it really takes long to cure depending on the weather and the paint you are using, I´m building my first car too and I have done lots of mistakes... it is part of the fun 🙂

Yes Cesar, I can see that makes sense. I have been delaying the body for a while trying to decide on a colour but now pretty much all else is ready and I must face the task of spraying the body. A little nervous but as you say, its all part of the fun and buzz of it!

Album info
My first build in nearly 40 years as a serious attempt. Never used an airbrush before, everything as a serious build attempt was new to me hence the build has taken quite some time due to much research!
