Ok.. so first off.. welcome to Scalemates.
Second of all... this is awesome!
However, I require more information about these builds. Mostly around the what and how, but a bit of the why as well. Nice nice work.

Hi Greg, thanks! These are a mix of F-toys, Eduard, Zvezda and Armory 1/144 kits that I've been giving the works. The Defiant and FE2b are scratchbuilds in the same scale. Some are still needing a few details here and there, but most are at the stage now where I'm happy enough to call them done.
As to why? Perhaps its the challenge to a degree. But mostly its the love of extreme miniatures and that wonderful disconnect you feel when you see something convincingly large rendered so small. When its done well, its like a small, heavily armed butterfly just landed on your desk 🙂

That's an excellent job in any scale, but in 144? WOW! Looks like we have a fine addition to our madhouse, welcome 👍

I thought I recognized a few of those. It really is a great job. I've done some scratchbuilt upgrades to some 1/144 kits as well, so I'm already a fan of your work because I know how hard it is to do.

Welcome to SCM, your job is truly fantastic, I am busy myself on some 1/144 at the moment, I can recognise some of yours sincerely I have them on my bench at the moment....what I do not recognise is the quality....yours are a lot better! That engine is simply out of this world! You have another fan already 🙂

Haha! Thanks Spanjaard! My secret weapons are a set of digital calipers and a $3 pair of non-prescription 4x reading glasses.
Armed with those and a good set of drawings you can just do it by the numbers. 🙂

Perhaps separate albums for each of the builds would let us bask in their glory a little more easily. It's a bit hard to determine what's what.

Or, you could come over to the dark side and see where the real action is. 😉

Revisiting this (amazing) album. I really would love to see a separate album for some of the jewels that do not have that many pictures, like the I-153 😉
