1:144 Airbus A340-600 Iberia
The resin fuselage extensions in grey along with original kit parts in white.
Showing more of the kit parts on the underside of the fuselage extension.
The kit landing gear wells fit ok and only required a small amount of filler.
Kit’s bottom plate attached to the resin fuselage extension and primed.
Good fit of the resin tail parts to the kit rear fuselage section.
The resin engines had horrible fit and required hours of sanding to get a decent shape.

The white parts are the only thing in the Revell A330 kit you use other than the landing gear. Big plane...

Wow, that is a long passenger jet. 🙂 Interesting subject. After realizing that the A380 kit I have in 1:144 is so large, I have tried to buy the smaller passenger jets after that. 🙂

Yep she's the longest one I've done so far, and I've done the same except I couldn't help myself when I saw the B777 kit.
Since it is so darn rainy here today and I can't paint or prime I'm updating some of my projects. Uploaded pics of the bottom panel, tail and engine work.

The engines on this conversion (at least my example) were absolutely horrible! It took massive amounts of filing and sanding to get to an acceptable level. I was not happy about this due to the cost of the conversion and the fact that I had to do it all outside because of all the resin dust.

Thanks Heikki! I'm almost ready to attach the wings, now I just need to find a place on my shelf!
