Finally - the 3D printed camera frame!
Disaster strikes - even with careful sawing with the finest PE saw I had, the frame shattered
Lots of patience later it's almost reconstructed. One part of the arch is missing - have to crawl over the floor again
Repair with styrene - still needs some trimming

The height of the camera assembly seems accurate compared to oroginal pictures
Some paint on the frame and camera. Not ssure about the latter. I read about a blue-grey camer colour but there are only pictures from cameras in beige and dark grey
RLM02 over black base - tried to keep it irregular
Quick dry fit with the cockpit floor to get an impression
RLM66 for the IP, Bordfunkers gauges and the morse code box
Radio equipment and camera painted blue grey. Beige and brown for the rear seat
Started painting on the MG15. Still needs some graphite for the metal effect, but the bakelite rear end and the fabric cover are mostly done

yellow applied - still not happy with the result. Might try MRP yellow next time

the crosses turned out a little bit too dark - they'll recieve another coat of white
contrast is a little too heavy fo rmy taste
contrast corrected, underwing codes applied
some weird lifting - never had an issue with MRP or Tamiya before..
RLM79 marble started
new marble technique
using a template over the base marble to get a more irregular pattern
RLM79 marble finished, added contrast with tan and brown
the effect is pretty subtle to invisible
RLM79 is on!
quite translucent - final look will be achieved after the RLM80 stripes
RLM70 for the prop, variation with Radu's mask in lighter and darker green; chipping via hairspray

Quickboost exhausts painted with Alclads: steel base, followed by pale burnt metal and jet exhaust near the openings

Warren InmanStupid me built the cockpit for this model and have misplaced it! Is on hold until I find the damn thing! 🙂

Murad ÖZERi've read about paint eating it's way tru earlier at lsp, hard to understand how something like this did happen, even harder to understand how you felt as you first saw wtf is going on...man! still a great save. 👍
