ESCI Leopard 2

This is a 12 hour build challenge put on by Southern California AMPS. Build a kit from start to finish within a 12 hour time span, broken up into four hour sessions over a three month period, all on Zoom meetings. So far this is what I've accomplished during the first four hour session in January.

Very Cool ! I just did a AMT East German T-72, Such a lacking and pain in but kit. Always loved those Leopards, look forward to seeing this come out !

@ Patrick, my Dutch YPR was getting lonely on the display shelf. She's long overdue for some company.

@ Bob, yeah, I've built a couple of their T-72s back when they were first released. I will do another, now that I have the skills to properly improve and correct that kit, within reason. It's the closest thing OOB to a T-72 Ural out there currently.

Perfect, a Dutch Leopard 2A NL...count me in mate! one remark my friend, the two large grids on the back on top of the hull now look like two large spoked wheels, there is normally a mesh over them.

Thanks for that update on the engine deck mesh Jos. And thank you for looking in! I'll have a look at photos and see what I have on hand to address that. I only have one more 4 hour session left in the club challenge, so planning and preparation are a must!
