Scammel Tank Transporter
Considering it’s age it appears to be a reasonable fit.
Trailer goes together quite well
Black primer.
Finished, added hawsers for ramps from jewellery wire and clear plasticard for windscreen.
Desert Display Base for the Scammell Tank Transporter and Matilda MKII.
Black Based, then after drying several very thin layers of desert yellow and dark yellow, a wash of Flory Sand Wash and and even thinner wash of desert yellow.
The wall signs from hobbycraft come with a hessian string, that make quite a good desert grass.
Complete.
Just waiting for the PVA to dry fixing the model to the base.

Yeah, the Scammell train, is so much different to the Antar train. As far as the operation is concerned. I'd have never tried talking an Antar that far off road and not expect to be the one being recovered ???? The fist unit I served with did have a Pioneer as a REME wrecker along with AEC Militants...
