Some light texturing was done on the main chassis using Tamiya Basic Gray Putty thinned with Tamiya Lacquer Thinner. The joints for the arms were removed and replaced with Milliput Epoxy Putty. It was "fun" trying to teach myself how to use epoxy putty for the first time

A quick size comparison between the completed 1/35 Melusine and a Vallejo bottle, highlighting the compactness of these 1/35 Ma.K suits

Painting, decals, flat coat, and weathering have all been applied. Quite happy with how the marking scheme turned out

And we're done! A short ten hours of work and I've got a nice little replica of a PKA Melusine

The arm joints were replaced with wire and epoxy putty, so that I could modify them into a more dynamic pose

Another size comparison with a Vallejo bottle. The yellow ID markings and heart were chosen as a shoutout to a certain someone in my life whose favorite color is yellow

Great subject! I have this one in my stash too, so I'm following along. How's the fit?

It's quite a nice kit to build, with everything fitting together rather easily and being well detailed for a small scale
