Gear bay and landing gear… ready for paintjob.
It’s time to start the work around the 50 cal… reference pics. Check the interval between the inner and external barrels (length and height).
Erasing the kit’s barrels, and drilling new holes. Wow, serious gap to fill on the external one.

Preparing a cradle for the barrels, made with Milliput. Twist drills are used in order to make the tracks in a proper position.
Barrels ready to slide in their craddles, but before that we will to assemble the wings…

finally managed to rebuild the guns areas: stuffed with tamiya epoxy putty, and drilled new holes where I can insert the brass 50 cals...

Propeller: Quickboost Vs Tamiya.
Next step: the cockpit. Combination of Aires, Eduard, and Hi-Tech aftermarket parts. But Tamiya’s main part (floor, fuel tank and port flank) is a solid base.

Rv@Clifford: found on internet, and resized to match the kit. Not 100% sharp, but enough to see the rivet lines. 😉
