Hello everyone This box was given to me by a good friend of mine, for which I thank him very much! From the start, from the additions I ordered only the interior of the cabin from Quinta Studio, the rest is all regular plus minor improvements. With plastic, everything is basically fine, there are problems in the bow, there Tamiya was overdone with a lot of docking elements for the sake of versatility in F16 modifications. There are differences in heights and planes in this place, the problem of connecting the lantern, but everything is easy to fix, a little sheet plastic and putty.
At the very beginning, it seemed to me that Tamiya had something wrong with the selection of colors on these sides. I was confused by the obviously blue color in the coloring of the lower part of the aircraft, but then I realized from the photo references that this is a feature of this particular production unit, by the way, this point is emphasized in the English-language instructions of Tamiya. In terms of paints, my choice fell on Mr.Hobby, I am very pleased with this acrylic. He acted from the black ground, lightening the areas first with white paint, then with a base. With the red fin and piggy, I had to think a little about the shade of red. In bright red acrylic mixed a drop of brown and black. It seems to have turned out similar.
The interior from Quinta Studio, as always, everything is fine, a very good set with spare elements, prudently on the part of the manufacturer. Regular decals are not simple, you need to watch carefully, if you do not carefully roll up or look through, they will be silvered.
That seems to be all. Have a nice viewing, comments, questions, I will answer with pleasure, thank you!
