What am I getting myself into now? Watch ONE VIDEO on Youtube just for some reference and suddenly I'm buying fiddly bits.

ECU wiring inspired by Ziggy's Desk on Youtube. I learned a lot about heat shrink tubing and super glue throughout this process.

Testing the ECU fit with wiring. The air intake funnel won't fit on top anymore, but it's not a big deal. Love seeing those velocity trumpets.

Miraculously cut this carbon to the correct shape the first time!

Radiators! The black decals on the return pipe are from the Ford GT kit...looked better than plain silver.

All together now!

Front suspension bits and wiring in place...this is prior to repainting the shock assembly.

TBH I didn't like that this car was going to sit on its wheels when the suspension seemed flimsy at best. Since I can't fit the bodywork on the car, I figured I would display it on sawhorses!

These are made from 1/8" Evergreen Square Tube. Didn't put too much thought into it, just cut them to size and used copious amounts of glue.

3/4 painted and clear coated. The detail freak inside me wants to paint around the weld seams with some darker metal colors and clear blue...

They support the weight of the chassis!

About as together as this is going to get.

Think this is going to look pretty cool on the shelf, just sayin'

The innards are pretty much done...ran into an issue with the paint on the front wing which is all I'm trying to clear up now. Nearly over the finish line with this thing!

Album info
What's going on inside Senna's McLaren MP4/6? Since the body isn't going to fit on top, I decided to wire this thing up. Only thing stopping me from doing radiator hoses too was that they wouldn't be available for 4-6 weeks!
