Paint Process

Initial base paint was a aluminum primer, followed by a zinc-chromate green that would later be shown in wear spots to weather the aircraft

Near black overspray was followed by a knife edge drawn through some panel lines to reveal the primer beneath. Leading edges were chipped a bit to show the underlying aluminum

As I didn't have the decals for the specific aircraft I wanted, paint masks were cut from clear-tak film to allow the call letters to be sprayed on

Weathering done and markings painted on it is time for a gloss clear coat to apply the decals on top of
