Beautifully done, I had one of these when I was a kid, there is a lot more detail in todays kits. Mine eventually came to fiery end one cracker night along with a He177 !

Album info
First of two Halifaxes builded together to be displayed here. The history of the plane is wery well known, because this plane is on display in National Air Force Museum of Canada.
On the end of WWII the plane had to deliver some containers to Norway on a mission performed for S.O.E. It succesfully dropped 13 containers and 2 packages but than was hitted by the AA fire and had to crash land on the Mjøsa lake.
In 1991 the plane was found in the lake, raised and restored. The complete info is on the web page airforcemuseum.ca.
The plane also took part on Operation Varsity on its penultimate mission. It towed a Hamilcar glider to Germany. So its clear, what I will have to build soon - the Hamilcar.
