The Pavla ammo bay made a nice addition to this build. I wish I had photos of the construction, but I hadn't been very involved with Scalemates while building this kit.

Personal Interest:
This model represents the AH-1F Cobra attack helicopter that was operated by 4th Aviation during my tour of duty at Fort Carson. The AH-1F was the most modern variant of the Cobra operated by the Army. It included an upgraded engine and incorporated a head-up display (HUD), laser rangefinder, infrared jammer, and an infrared suppressing engine exhaust system. The AH-1F was frequently flown by 4th Aviation on the Ft. Carson reservation for training, but did not participate on large scale exercises.
