Steven Van DyckAfter a panelline wash and a clear coat the Viggen is finished. I put it on a temporary mirror base, next weekend I'll probably get a better one.

Steven Van DyckWelcome. I assembled the container in a few hours, an easy process if you wanted to show it closed down. But the option with open doors is incorrect and needs some changes to the locking system. I had done this with the right door, but it would make no sense to have the pallet loader blocked by the left door so I have to change that one too. I made a sketch of the design for the dio, though the cut might be more oblique to gain some volume.

Steven Van DyckThe Brengun is mounted on the turret, but the drum magazine seems positioned wrong by AFV. I think I need to remove the carrying handle from the gun to be able to add the drum correctly. I also wonder if the English at Alamein would still have white hatch insides as proposed by the manual. The Orange Hobby Besa magazines are a neat little kit, but I replaced the all-around embossing with a thread to avoid warping.

Steven Van DyckI added this brand Tabletop-Art because I want to build some ruins near the Scammell dio. I completed one Ionic column and then cut up the other so that the capital and one drum have fallen off. I added the drum edges to both pillars and also hollowed out the plug holes for the dislodged parts.

Steven Van DyckThanks, Ingmar. Now the deck of Strasbourg is fixed, but the Bigblueboy set has some extra requirements. The doors now have a backside structure, though not the correct one I suspect. I found a rectangular profile in stead of their diamond pattern. They also request to open up the airplane hangar in two levels. Then the atlantic bow deck is completely covered with a large PE plate sporting the correct anti-slip pattern. It's so nice I rue that it won't be available for Dunkerque, that has got a bland chequered pattern from Hobbyboss.

Steven Van DyckThanks. The frame is now assembled after removing of sinkmarks on both beams. These were not present on the four wheel truck frame that is still included. The first set of three SKP lights is added to the rear.

Steven Van DyckThe axles are now added to the frame. Because Trumpeter wanted the springs to be workable, the shock absorbers are cut down. This will be repaired later. The cardans are drilled and softened with glue.

Steven Van DyckI added the RT Diorama Large Wayside Cross to the dio. And then I burned down the church door with real fire, because it is made from wood that is possible and probably the most realistic "painting method"...
