Thank you Neuling for the nice comment and the others for the likes.
I tried to conserve the nice, printed markings, fill the quite prominent gaps and experiment afterwards with a subtile aging.
For not damaging the paintwork I tried to fill the gaps with cristal cleer, which worked surprisingly well.
