Thanks Guys... I feel that my modelling is more about the best way of fixing my mistakes than modelling... but I guess that is called experience. I 3D printed the base, and after filling and painting, it look OK... but more importantly, does the job... I also use a different technique for shadowing which looked OK for the bottom, but the darker colour for the camouflage it was rather hidden... but practice makes perfect...
