Eduard 1/48 BF 109G-6
Adding some scratch built instrument detail and wiring to the 2 dimensional photo etch parts.
Gave the cockpit a gloss coat prepping for oil washes.
Applied basic oil wash to accentuate the recesses.
The oxygen gauges look nice with the additional wiring.
Added seatbelts and control column to the cockpit.
Now working on the fuel line, then ready to install after a matt coat.
Fuel line installed and cockpit dry fitted in starboard side fuselage.
Used Mig Lucky Varnish as a dull coat.
Cockpit complete and dull coat applied
Used AK Gauzy Agent on the instrument panel dials.
First time using Mr. Metal Color (MC 214 Dark Iron). Went on very nice and produced a convincing finish and texture.
Used AK Real Color RLM02 on the engine cowling where the exhaust stacks protrude.
End result looks good. Will add PE exhaust deflector later in the build.

Just started Eduard's Bf 109G-6 from their BFC kit. Building this mostly out of the box; saving the Brassin parts for a future 109 build.

Applied a wash to the cockpit and some final detailing. All that is left is to finish the fuel line and give it a matt finish.

Thanks for the encouragement Sergej. The cockpit is complete and will be closing up the fuselage next.
