this was the first tomcat i'd ever built, finished a year ago. i opted to pain the yellow pin striping on instead of using the decals, which turned out okay. however, my final matte coat caused the blue paint on the spine to bleed a bit. i'm not entirely sure why. i was discouraged by that, and so I didn't bother to do any addition oil weathering.

the loadout with the phoenix missile is inaccurate for this plane, which flew in 2006, but since it was my first tomcat i felt compelled to use it anyways.

currently working on the same kit in the same colors, and it's turning out much nicer!
