My name is Gabor Szabo, but my friend often call me "the hermit" (in hungarian "remete") - some might say is because my hobby but it's far from true :lol: (actually in my university years my habits were ehm... far from being a hermit but my friends like silly jokes).

I make models since my childhood and with some pauses (You know, girls, University, cold drinks and travel... and finally modeling naturally) that's mean more than 25 years now - wow 🤔hock: . I mostly build aeroplanes but I very like dioramas so sometimes mixing the genres and build vehicles, figures and so on. My first kits were the usual "eastern goodies" (KP, WEB Plasticart, NOVO, ZTS Micro) and later the first "western" kits we could get (smuggled from Austria :fear: ) were Matchbox and naturally Airfix, Revell products.

Through the years I was a Luftwaffe enthusiast than turned into WWII (all nations), Early Jet Age and finally - recently - I fell in love with the Golden Age of Aviation. I very like esoteric themes: rare aeroplanes, rare or very old kits (to build them) or strange/ignored/rarely seen subjects. I had some scratchbuild projects (among them the Latecoere 28 which now produced by SBS Model) because it's so much fun creating something from zero 🙂 . Recently I have involved myself some "garage" projects just for the fun and to try myself (I'm behind the "Plastic Passion" name - oops,
I brought down 🙂 ) . OK I don't want to be too long rather ask questions if You wish 🙂.
