As a television show gimmick a Leopard 2A6 was painted orange for the then upcoming European Soccer Championship. Actually the Army liked the idea so much that they used this tank for other promotional actions as well. I saw this tank at the 2008 Veterans Day Festival for example. Haven been given a Tamiya Leopard 2A6 kit I want to show the previous owner how colorful a Leopard can be! 😉
