Republic P-47 D Thunderbolt, Venezuela

Republic P-47 were used by the new Venezuelan Air Force since 1947 (it became as independent armed force from Army the same year). They were active until 1955 when were replaced by DH Vampires.

For this model, I used PE by EDUARD (73211) and decals from AZTEC (72-044); except those marks used wings, they were manufactured using Microscale decals sheet (Those ones provided by AZTEC are shorter than required ones). Painted using Alluminium Metallic line by Model Masters.

Flaps were cut and installed in "down" position. Supports were manufactured in scratch using styrene from Evergreen.
