This kit was started by my friend who did a very basic build, didn't try to fix seams or alignment issues. It was missing a few parts for the turret and the road wheels were missing some items as well, fortunately I have another friend who is a M48 Experten. He had a whole bunch of spare parts to help with the restoration. I have upgraded the Infrared searchlight and sandbag set both from Legend. This is going to end up in a Diorama for the IPMS Chapter's 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War project.

This kit was started by my friend who did a very basic build, didn't try to fix seams or alignment issues. It was missing a few parts for the turret and the road wheels were missing some items as well, fortunately I have another friend who is a M48 Experten. He had a whole bunch of spare parts to help with the restoration. I have upgraded the Infrared searchlight and sandbag set both from Legend.
Filling the motorization holes underneath and the after portion of the lower hull wasn't too hard. Took a lot of cutting and grinding to get the searchlight installed, used milliput to fare it in. One of the pictures shows the drive gear installed kinda wonky, fixed that. The hardest part was taking installed parts without destroying them in the process.
