I doubt very much the "2018 New tool" statement as I bought my kit 2007.
There is no mention of the maker on the box or on the instructions but there ar several notes on the net saying it is from Lee not HA-models

No. Different scales 1/550 vs 1/800. Layout of the parts differ between them also.
But I remember that my nephew built the 1/550 kit a long time ago and I could compare it with my 1/570 kit from Revell.
The CC Lee was a copy (sort of as they changed the scale) but it was of a lower quality than Revell. But as all I could find from HA-models are Dutch aircraft related items it seems strange that they would do a 1/800 Titanic with a Chinese box and instructions.
