Two of the spray booths are designed & manufactured by Ningbo Hao Sheng, and sold customized by packaging, color, Instruction sheets. They also make Compressors and Airbrushes, selling B2B in the same way to reseller channels. There are several repeats on the Spray booths tab
Just as a disclaimer - I am not associated with the company in any way but do own two of the older model (420).
The units are the HS-E420DLCK (one fan, horizontal vent) and HS-E550BLK (two fan, vertical vent) models, there are some variants of these with / without lights & variable fan and light controls.
Note that the numbers denote the booth width – 420mm and 550mm respectively – go to the website, haoshengnb.com, search HS-E550BLK, scroll down to see the comparative of the two models there. Note also there are various You Tube videos available online.
My experience:
I bought 2 of the HS-E420DLCK (with LED lights) online from resellers, with taxes & delivery, $83.90 from Amazon / Floureon, Mar 2017 & $72.48 from ebay / Jenna, Nov 2018.
I am pleased with the booths, the 420mm / 16 ½” wide, the extractor fan pulls the overspray out very well, is rated at 4m³, noise is OK, rated at 47db LED lights are very bright, sound is rated at 47db.
The exhaust attachment is horizontal in the 420 unit, which takes up space. As I spray almost all acrylics, the unit is vented into a bin which works very well. When spraying enamels or alclad I pick the unit up and spray them in the garage, venting the unit through the wall. Unit weight with vent hoses etc. is 3.95kg or less than 10lbs.
Workspace is a little tight when painting larger models in one unit, but they are designed to be combined, hence buying the second unit to make the larger booth.
Combining the two units is straightforward, (8mins). The unit is spacious but is a large footprint and I have used it only 10+ times. It is noisy when running the combined unit with the two fans on, but it does the job. I have been using it on 1/48 scale using alclad, and on some ships.
I keep one booth assembled, which I use 95% of the time. The other is stored in its folded down state in the original packaging by the bench.
Hope it is useful!
