What is the size of the bases and what did you use for the snow? I've always wanted to do an eastern front diorama.

Thanks William, very encouraging and heartwarming.
As a base I used a water resistant 3 mm triplex plate where I glued on 3 cm high thick XPS foam used for insolating buildings. I then put a thin layer of plaster/polyfilla on it as light as possible to give it a firm base. Secondly I sprayed the surface with water and put cheap white glue on top of it and sprinkled sodium bicarbonate ( as cheap as you can find it) on top of it. After drying I repeated the process where I had patches not well covered. Hope this helps. it was surprisingly easy once i had tried it out.
Finally, I can't claim any of this as my own as I have picked up bits of advice from skilled people around me and behaved like a magpie. Simples.....

Impressive dio! While the Fokker and some folks seem too shiny, the weathering of the rest looks grand 👍 Snow in particular 😮
