Dragon 1/72 Ka-Mi Amphibious Tank
Basecoat and highlights are done, next will be detail painting and applying the decals.
Due to the highlights, the paintjob turned out quite light and desaturated, but upcoming oil-dot-filters and washes should bring that down considerably
The exhaust has been treated with enamels to give it an irregular rusty surface. It had to be done rather early on this project, as the exhaust cover will prevent me from doing finer painting there after it has been fixed permanently.
Oil paints have been used to shift the tone of the vehicle´s paintjob selectively as well as to subtly shade some areas. Afterwards, a pinwash and chipping will be applied.
Now with pinwashes, chipping and rust effects 🙂
The finished project... I used a black backdrop for a change
