Absolutely spectacular !! I could only hope for this kind of result with a larger scale.

… „it's only a test" … now I am curious how a serious build would look!
This is simply amazing - I bow to your skills 👍

Thank you very much chaps. I really do appreciate you taking the time to have a look and leave a comment. It's all finished now, so I've added some better pics.
Now I need to decide what to make next.

I love the propeller - I struggle to do a decent one in 1:48 and you perfect it in 1:144

I really like the propellor too. It took me three attempts though!
Ellis, the fuselage was carved from two pieces of 3mm styrene sandwiched together. I've got a scratchbuilding book coming out via Fonthill Media in the UK, where I bang on about construction techniques and how to do the rigging etc. It's gone to the editors for page layout and they tell me it is scheduled to go to print in July 2024

I am reakky interested in the book. Unfortunately shipping to Germany almost doubles the price.

yes, nice offer with preorder discount, bit shipping is almost the same as the look, and probably there will be import suites on top of that..... :_(

Thank you, everybody! That is very kind. I'm hoping the next project that I am doing will take it up a couple of notches 🙂
I'm really sorry to hear about the postal costs. I wasn't expecting that either. Hopefully once the book comes out in July it will be available from other outlets with lower freight costs. Fingers crossed!

This one is a test to see how the 1/144 lozenge decals from Aviattic behave.
