The kit has decent details but the insides of the cockpit are pretty barren. Adding some strip to simulate ribs.
gun barrels were replaced with some thin copper tubing. Using thin lead solder for additional wiring detail

Seat installed. I made crude belts but later swapped them out for photo etch. What was i thinking 🙂
The main landing gear is pretty fiddly, and there's a lot packed in that small space. This is essentially OOB.
start of engine detailing. It's too bare for my taste, especially since it will be very exposed on the top of the aircraft

Antony Merigotvery good job mate! I built this kit not too long ago and had a real issue with the canopy cracking into pieces (maybe to do with the age).

Photos from my Dragon He 162 build in 1/48. Mostly OOB, but with some hand detailing, and aftermarket photoetch seatbelts. The decals were a nightmare; very fragile. The model was finished in Mission Models acrylics.
