Danny RayA bit broke off. The radio antenna base, I think. Still needs decals and weathering. Not too bad, I suppose. Considering my rank amateur status! 🙂

Danny RayOh, the 'rubber' road tires are pretty shaky. Struggled to stay within the lines, as it were.

gorbyNice work Danny, although it will probably look better the right way up. 😉 If you go to 'Manage' and the 'Advanced options' you can change the orientation of your photos.
Magnification definitely helps with these small scale builds, I can barely do any modelling without it now.

Danny RayThanks Gorby. Yes I'm currently using a magnifying light but have to hold my breath because I'm right behind it, it fogs up the lens! Also the lens is warped so it's actually harder with it than not using anything at all! lol

The people in this group are very encouraging and not at all bitchy like some hobbies. I'm an obvious amateur but it's great to have so many knowledgable modellers to help. Met some really nice people already. Jakko Westerbeke and Scott Dutton among them. And now you 🙂

My second attempt at an Airfix 1:76 kit. I have most of the vintage classics like a Tiger I, Sherman Firefly, Russian T34, Churchill, Japanese type 90 and a few 1:72 scale aircraft kits to hone my skills on. Amazing how fiddly they can be. I can’t wait to get my magnifying glasses and LED light headset, should make things easier.
Still finding airbrushing difficult.
The tracks look horrible on this. Hoping once the decals are on and I’ve added some dark earth pigment that it’ll take that obvious plastic look away a little.
Onwards and (hopefully) upwards!
