The engine instruments on the nacelle. I used a new technique to fix the bezels in place. First a drop of Humbrol Clearfix. Then you can put the small part on and because the glue is sticky you can then manipulate it into place. Once the ClearFix is dry, put a little superglue on to fix it in place.
The color profiles show two pitots, one underneath the cockpit, the other in the wing. No parts provided. The one near the cockpit is not for the later Ju 86 so I just put a piece of bronze rod in the wing.
The wash (oil paint with white spirit) was difficult. Initially it ran along the panel lines but then spread over the surface (was it because the MrColor RLM02 is matt?)
I simplified things a bit. The three boxes far left are supposed to be two stacked on top and the other up front. But there really is any place to put it so this is more likely. The plate in front of the hatch (the ring) should be 90 degrees rotated but then doesn't fit inside canopy.
I needed a handle to grab the model while putting on the flaps and ailerons. So I sprayed RLM02, especially the nose and canopy and then wrapped it in masking tape.
Nicolas Very nice result. 👍
Yes, washes tend to spread in the panels if the base paint in matt. But I think one can use this for some kind of post shading.
