My heart is breaking to see my beloved Leopard like this... 🙁
Pic 7 comes close to that you're presently at.
You've chosen a difficult subject. It is easier to build a "new" vehicles than an old or destroyed one. Wish you all the best for yours! 👍

Will you Tamiya "Leo" rusty? With the technique of hairspray?

I've not heard of hairspray technique?

Perhaps the best way to explain is this: Youtube Video

If pic 7 were what I was going after, I'd use AK Interactive's "Worn Effects" over a mottled rust base, then the base color....so the sequence of applications would be (assuming you're using acrylics): primer, mottled rust, enamel gloss coat, "worn effects", base color.....that's how I'd do it........I may have read some variations of that, or I might be completely wrong.....
Hope that helps ; )

This will be a real fictional model. The Tamiya Leopard is a 1st batch which only was delivered to the German Army. Not a single one remains in the original condition because all of them were upgraded to the A1A1/A1A2 standard and the most were later improved to be A5.
That gives me the opportunity to relax while watching your sacrilege😉

These Leos are serving as targets on the Vliehors Gun Range on the island of Vlieland, the Netherlands. And it's just a few minutes flying from Leeuwarden AFB.
