Looking nice, i just bought this kit myself. How does everything fit?

its really not a bad kit some details are nice others leave alot to be desired it could really use some photo etch i will post some update photos in a couple weeks im currently on vacation

Have a nice vacation then! I just started this kit myself with a resin Magach conversion set.

started to work on the M-60 again decided to paint it in the 70's MERDAC scheme took me awhile to find the pattern and it was quit complicated so i drew paint-by-numbers with a pencil on the kit, i got black painted on but unfortunately i bent my needle on my airbrush during the color change and just a few weeks ago i gave my other airbrush to a friend who was moving away

Hello William, i will build on M60 with the portuguese marks soon, but it will be the Tamiya kit.

I'm really looking forward to AFV they are supposed to release a M-60 soon i dont have the Tamiya kit but i hear it has about as many issues as this Esci kit

here's My MERDAC scheme it didn't come out so well the greens are to green i think. the tracks are possibly the worst tracks in the history of models i really hope AFV's up-coming release has vinyl track, but next weekend i should be able to finish this kit

Painting looks good (but i´ve got no clue if it´s correct),
the vison ports would look better if you start with a silver "base coat" and add a "finish" with clear varnish, mixed with some blue. If you get the right mixture with blue and vanish, they´ll look more transparent and realistic.

O.K. maybe you are right Fabian, the Heller AMX-30 tracks do got these beat in the looks department but the Esci tracks really suck when assembling. And thank you for the tip on the periscopes i think i will try it out 🙂

Looking nice! The lighter colour really stands out. You've got the tracks on! I threw them away and used some from the Tamiya M-60!
