Hi Fabian, I agree. The old Tamiyas are always a pleasure to build. You made a great one.

It looks great. I agree, the paint job looks very cool. I see a bunch of those buckets, the one on back. Where do you get them or are they scratch built?

Nice one 👍 For me a nice camo scheme and some nice figures are much more important than 3 Mio. parts and 1 Mio. photo etched parts.

Thank you mates... just discovered that I forgot to paint the lights 😳
and something to fill the bucket is on todo too... mabe some grease
The bucket and the crew were included, such as various parts for the late and africa version (which is almost an entire sprue).
BTW: I was planing a small base or Dio for the Panzer, so some dust and dirt is still missing

It`s kind of funny. The first thing you read about the Tamiya Pz. IV D is that is has the wrong wheels and the wrong tracks. Guess what, I paid over 50.- Euro for the new Dragon Pz. IV D Africa, and it has the wrong wheels and the wrong tracks.

Very nice Fabian. I really like it. This is one of my favorite kits as well.

When you get the old Tamiyas you get a lot of fun and a lot of mistakes. I prefer fun. F*** for the mistakes! 😄

Thanks again, it´s good to get such a positive feedback on such a rainy day 😄
I´ve painded the lights and put grease (clear "window color" with a bit yellow) and a brush (scratched) in the bucket. (pic 6 and following)

A good old Tamiya, always a pesure to build, I?ve added some miror scratchbuilds, but nothing special.
The vehicle is painted in the early/pre-war scheme, (panzergrey with dark brown). I have no clue if this variant was ever painted this way, but it looks damm cool 😉
