Now that I finally got enough yellow coverage, the white of the roundel isn't opaque enough.... Have to find a white decal to put underneath...

Decaling completed! Now I need to finish the control surfaces, propeller, add the instrument decals and it will be done!

As much as I love the RCAF SAR colours (the screaming yellow, with red flashes and black trim), it is one of the most difficult to adequately replicate, largely because of the yellow. Which yellow did you use? I agree that a white undercoat certainly helps the whole job, but I've found that I like the 'Deep Yellow' over the 'RAF Trainer Yellow'.

Finished! Definitely going to use a white primer next time. Used a Testors Gloss Yellow out of a rattle can. Might not be accurate, but looks good to me...

Nice looking little model. I've picked up the idea for displaying my 1/72 aircraft on mirror/glass tiles like here and think it shows them off well🙂

Nice!. How is this little kit? My local hobby shop has it and no one has bought it (it's been there forever.) is there a reason for that?
