(With regard to the kit, the props seem to be warped forward of the true perpendicular axis...are they?)

RobertHi Phil, I don't think so. I guess it's one of the week points of the kit. The hole in the engine is bigger than the rod connecting to the prop, which tilts the prop forward toward the bottom

Phil MarcheseOk that may be what is causing the illusion. good to know for anyone building it. That can be fixed even now by " lubing" the shaft with whit glue and after it is setting up occassionally rotating the prop to weaken the bond but layer the opening and shaft ( tighter).

DutchRobert, What? US Navy still flying F4U Corsairs in 1956? Amazing, and very nice work. I like the multi colour effect and somewhere have a photo in the archives of this very bird. Great job! That will be a keeper for the display shelf, no doubt. R/ Dutch
