In the fabulous sixties, drag racing came into its own with all manner of classes, categories and fascinating race cars. One of the ost popular was the AA Gasser, which generally meant that you could run almost any engine with a supercharger but you had to run on some sort of "pump" gasoline. The other legality was that the body had to be derived from some production based automobile. the '40 Willys body turned out to be just the ticket.
