I've never really been into first world war aircraft, but the models, when they are done this well, are works of art. Well done.

Thanks a lot. Woodgrain was made with a base of sand beige from Lifecolor, then a stiff brush and different oil colors ... 🙂

Very nice, I've been experimenting with wood grain technics, there is no right or wrong way to do wood. I find that going in different (horizontal, vertical) directions with the grain on each individual panel and slightly different tones of paint helps to make it stand out better.
Does the kit come with turnbuckles or will I need to fabricate?
Adding to my Squadron wish list.
I personally love doing the WWI aircraft as well as reading the exploits from and about the pilots in novels such as "Flying for France, Wings over Ypres and a host of others.
My great Uncle Joseph Dick Offord was KIA 14 Feb 1914 near (what is now) the 13th hole of the Golf & Countryclub de Palingbeek near Ypres Belgium.
