Starting by painting all the little bits

Back to the paint shop. I discovered that P-38J landing gear bays were silver or neutral grey. Drats.

Kit cockpit has good amount of detail

Lots of space for lots of weigh

Landing gear bays and engine boom alignment is critical. It will save a lot of heart ache later.

For a Hasegawa kit the fit is so-so. Filling and sanding commence.

My working area is a mess! It's been cleaner but never for long. And bottlecaps are easy to acquire, perhap too easy. Recycling😉

Is you noticed the work surface is a sheet of wood paneling on top my desk drawer. Inside the draw is my stock of humbrol and similar paint tins. The drawer comes out when my desk gets to cluttered. My wife says "my room" is a "hoarder's room.
