I have just realised that the cockpit is aftermarket! Thought that is different to the one I have OOB.
How does it fit? I have used one on the Hasegawa Harrier and it was a right pain!

Hi Marian, i had to do some sanding to remove the details of the cockpit to add the aires set to my P51D, i guess you had to do that too right?
great detail in Aires set, but fit usually needs lots of work. Of the several Aires sets i have used, P-51 cockpit was by far the easiest.

@Murad - cockpit, gun bays, engine. 🙂
@Spanjaard - yeap, just the elements Tamiya molded on the side walls. But that was 15 minutes work with motorized tool.
