I built the Tamyia F4F-4 years ago but fancy building an FM-2 because of the many interesting markings

As I say it looks lovely. Markings are simple really grey and white. Just love playing with it onWar Thunder and like seeing the Marlet at Duxford. The cockpit detail is ok. Going to add some generic US etch seat belts from Eduard. There is nice detail around the front bulkhead/engine. Also the undercarriage is really well done and a little complicated. Cheap kit too. Can't go wrong.

Yeah, since i got the f4f-3 (early) from Hobby Boss in my stash, i am interested in the undercarriage especially.

Nicely done. My eyes are crossing just thinking about working at that level of detail.

Nice cockpit Don.
As far I can remember all parts of the undercarriage of the FM-2 were painted white and seablue, not aluminum. [img1]

Thanks Berhard, this is the FM-2 white and grey version. Checked my references and they are silver mate.
