Lost_ErikNice. I rather like the "it's not gloss yellow" appearance. Maybe an example from a different fighter wing than the motion picture?

Uwe KaedingWell, finally got around to repainting this - changed the colour to a brighter yellow and added some rub'n'buff silver leaf to the chrome sections. Replaced the decals with some from a spare kit I have.

Uwe KaedingThanks everybody - quite pleased how this one came out myself. It's even led me to buying some other Merlin kits which aren't available from other manufacturers...

Uwe KaedingFinally got a set up put together suitable for milling the louvres on his body - got the front done OK but made a hash of the back - have had to fill the ones I made there and will try again

Uwe KaedingGreg - can't really remember but I think it was probably roughly done with a Dremel and cutter bit and then smoothed by hand using chisels. I have used the Dragon chisels for ages and they work really well.
