All done!
This is my favorite model of all I have built so far, so I hope you all enjoy the pics! I will be entering this in the "Multi-engine 1/48 Jets" category at the Cleveland Model Show next weekend. Wish me luck!

Don't know if you will win Mick but if you are beaten then you can be proud of being beaten by a brilliant entry. Good luck Mate!

Perfect! Wish you the best for the Model Show, but i would be very surprised if you wouldn't win.

Thanks Peter, Sarunas, David, Forest, Marko, Murad, Konrad, Adam, Stefan, Sören, Stephan, Roland, Christian, and Alexander! I truly appreciate all of your kind words!
Sarunas, my next build will be quite a bit simpler... It is actually for a friend. My buddy's fiancee is a former Blackhawk pilot for the South Carolina National Guard. He wants to give it to her for her birthday on December 15th. So I will be building a Minicraft 1/48 UH-60L Blackhawk, all OOB. So I anticipate meeting that date should not be a problem. After that it is another helo, an Apache.

Thanks Kees, Michael, Eelco, Spanjaard, Jens, Erik, and Rhys!
You all humble me with such wonderful compliments. Thank you all.
I hope it does well at the show, this will only be the second time I have entered a judged contest. Last year, I entered my Hasegawa VF-84 Tomcat, Academy Kazakh Su-27, and Revell F-15E in the Multi-Engine Jets category at the Cleveland Model Show. The F-15E took a second. So I am hoping I can take a first this year. I will be entering the following four this year:
1/48 Multi-Engine Jets - This Su-35
1/48 Single Engine Jets - My Kitty Hawk Polish Su-22M4 and Tamiya F-16C Blizzard Aggressor
1/48 Out of Box - My Hasegawa F-4G Wild Weasel
Thanks Kees, Michael, Eelco, Spanjaard, Jens, Erik, and Rhys!

Thanks Markus, Mike, Sebastijan, James, Timothy, and Donald!
LOL Donald, that might get me, uh I dunno, arrested! Hahaha It is indeed an IPMS Show put on by my club, IPMS John Glenn and IPMS Western Reserve (both of the Cleveland area). It is a decent size local show with usually about 400-500 model entries. Should be fun!

Splendid result Mike!
Good luck with the competition and more importantly have fun!
Decent size local show you say, uhm, last weekend's annual IPMS show here in Athens, Greece, was something like 900 entries. So I'd say it's more than decent. I would like to know the size of the IPMS US Nationals...

Thansk Maciej! I actually don't know how big a Nats is, I've never been to one. Actually, I really haven't been to any other show than the IMPS Local show. But next year we are hosting the Region IV show, so that will be the biggest one I will have been to. I have actually only been modelling for about 2 years now, so I need to get out to other shows a bit more.

The US nationals are HUGE. Havent been to one myself, but they take over a large hotel for a number of days. Not sure of the numbers, but 1000 or more entries would not surprise me.
The Northern VA show is a big one as well. We had somewhere in the area of 400 entries as well. And maxed out the vendors.
Michael, not if you dont let anyone else see. Your word against theirs. And they wont be able to talk!😉 LOL

i was recently in Scale Model Challenge near Eindhoven (Netherlands). 2000 entries in the contest (majority of it figures, around 1700 i believe).... it was incredible.
I have never seen anything like that before. And they are hopping to host World Model Expo in 2020... that will be something i will certainly not miss!

Thanks Maciej and Gustavo!
So this discussion got my curiosity piqued, so I did a search. It appears US Nationals has 2500+ entries on average every year. Would be impressive to see!
