The hole that needed to be cut for the Pegasus tail fin was enlarged from existing display stand hole. You can also see the BIG gap on the right wing.

Did my own masks with Oramask 810 stencil film, this stuff is GREAT! Excellent mask with no bleed, its clear so you can see how to cut it & where it needs to be tacked down.

Even though I had the Eastern express engines & metal detail updates I used the Otaki engines with just the exhaust nozzle from the Eastern Express engines. This gave me the best combination & updates the engines to the Rolls-Royce RB.211-524B.

Check Pegasus XL done, I hate not having any alignment pins for the fins, they are just butt mounted.

Love it, you have done a job Keith! I have the same project to do with an old Airfix Tristar. A bit more work involved for me to bring the Tristar closer to a production example.

Keith, Beautiful work there! I plan on a straight passenger Gulf Air L-1011-200, but I do like your OSC Pegasus carrier. Fits nicely with your NASA line. K/r, Dutch

Than you Dutch, Julia, Erick & Ray. The key was finding a Otaki L-1011 & cutting edge Pegasus. Without these two hard to find kits I would not have attempted the project. I have a extra Otaki L-1011 if anyone is interested.

I too took a while to get a kit (Airfix and now Eastern Express) and the Cutting Edge conversion kit and decals. Fortunately for others now, the Eastern Express Tristar will be issued with the Pegasus rocket in the future.
