Yes it is the CE Cowling, I re-loaded the album with picture of the finished kit from years ago. I have since stripped this off for a re-do.

I have this kit in my stash (impulsive buy...) How is it?

The kit is fine out of the box. The Cutting Edge sets take the kit to higher level of accuracy, but not necessary. Even the ancient Hawk/Testors kit is good, it has recessed panel lines, posable stablilators, no cockpit or wheel well detail is the only downcheck for the kit.
