A fixed wing gem is approaching! I´ll keep an I on it. Maybe I can borrow some techniques for my 1/48 build.

I've been wanting to do an Intruder for a long time. I'm pulling up a chair for this one!

Detailing of the nose landing gear would be more than enough for quarter scale!! Top work!

You made a mistake in project description Ronan, this is obviously a 1/32 scale with them details... 🙂

There's a Fujimi Intruder waiting for further detailing on my desktop, so it's quite inspiring work we get to see here from Ronan! I think, I'm going to wait for Augusto! 🙂

Glad I found this one. I have this kit and was curious what could be done to make it pop. Well my question has been answered. Great detail work. Gives me inspiration to tackle this kit. Again amazing work.

During watching I thought that this kit looks extremely like a Tamiya, then I saw it is the same mould... mine wasn't half as nice 🙂 GJ Ronan 👍

The 1/72 scale still amazes me and especially those who have the touch to make them look so good. 👍 😉
Well done. 🙂

How do you plan, when airbrushing around the masked windows?
I unfortunately tend to end up with too much paint and gloss coat, making the edges rough after removing the masking tape. I hope to become more disciplined and being very restrictive in how much paint and gloss coat I add over and around the edges of the masking tape.

On the masked areas you have to spray thin layers of paint , many layers if necessary but always thin.
If you have spray an hard layer, before removing masks, you can gently cut the paint with a scalpel around the masks : when it's done you can remove the masks without removing paint;
For a better result, always use a thin masking tape ( like tamiya )

Italeri should send Ronan a life-long "ask for it - get it" check for doing this to one of their kits!😉

I see we have here another modeler who prefers to build full-scale and then zap with a shrinkgun down to...say, 1:72...and have everybody thinking it really was built as a scale model! Excellent ruse and it turned out amazing!

Stunning result, absolutely excellent! Just one minor comment - your wing struts are too long, causing the wing tips being too far away from each other. Same problem as on the Italeri kit... anyway, gorgeous model, probably the best 1/72 Intruder I have seen so far!

your models are NOT appreciated Ronan, y think most of us simply LOVE them 🙂 ... well, sometimes a bit love/hate relationship.... we hate them, because most of us will never make something as good as what you do😉.

I notice there is a "Thunderbird" logo on the fuselage. Is this of the same sqn that had B-17G's in WWII. ?

Encore mieux avec les ailes! 👍 Les pilotes sont de Fujimi ?
